Outdoor First Aid
Whether you are looking for a course to maintain your Outdoor NGB qualifications, or wish to refresh/learn potentially life saving skills we have a course that is right for you.
The Emergency Outdoor First Aid (1-day) course is an 8-hour introduction designed for people involved in outdoor activities who need only the essentials — assessing a casualty, summoning help, and providing basic emergency care until professional support arrives.
The Level 3 Outdoor First Aid (2-day) course is a minimum 16-hour, more comprehensive qualification covering a wide range of outdoor emergencies such as fractures, spinal and head injuries, medical conditions, hypothermia, and environmental hazards, with ongoing assessment and a 3-year certificate suitable for expedition leaders and remote workplaces.
As standard you can expect:
Practical, hands-on training – delivered in realistic outdoor scenarios to develop practical skills under authentic conditions.
Emergency management skills – training covers a wide range of incidents, from cuts and burns to heart attack, severe bleeding, broken bones, and environmental hazards.
Confidence to act under pressure – equipping participants to stabilise casualties, make informed decisions, and safely oversee groups in challenging terrain.
Recognised qualification – completion of the 2-day course results in a respected outdoor-first-aid certification, valued by activity leaders, workplaces, and adventure organisers alike.
