Here at Ridgeline Adventures Limited we understand the importance of privacy and respect your personal data. This Privacy Notice sets out the data we ask for and what we do with it.

Information that we collect from you

When you visit our website or make an enquiry you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself or a young person in your care, including but not limited to the following:

·       Name

·       Date of birth

·       Email address

·       Contact phone number

·       An emergency contact by name and phone number

·       Any medical or health conditions that may help us to provide more effective care during an expedition

This information is collected by way of online enquiry forms, correspondence and/or medical forms.

Use of your information

The information collected enables us to provide our services. Ridgeline Adventures carefully share the information you provide (name, contact number and applicable health concerns) with staff to ensure they can effectively manage participants' well being during activities.

At times it may also be necessary to carefully share relevant information with third parties, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award to verify participation and, in the event of an emergency, medical professionals. However, we will never sell or pass your information on in any other context.

Information storage/ retention

Information provided to Ridgeline Adventures will be held securely until such time it is no longer needed to provide our service to you. This is usually 6 month after your involvement in an activity. In the event of a participant being involved in an accident we reserve the right to hold details and medical forms securely for 3 years or, if longer, until the participants' 21st birthday.

Your rights

You have a right to access personal data held by Ridgeline Adventures. To comply with a request of this nature we will charge an administration fee of £10. Complaints

If you have any complaints regarding how your data is handled by Ridgeline Adventures, please contact us on info@ridgelineadventures.co.uk and we will respond within 28 days.

If you feel your complaint has not been addressed in a satisfactory manner, you may contact the ICO who regulate data use and protection in the UK www.ico.org.uk .
